This cycle we are featuring Lincoln Electric's Vantage 300, LNC K2409-3. This is one of the best welder/generators for the construction / repair trade. The smooth running Kubota diesel engine runs at 1800 rpm producing up to 300 Amps weld power at 32 Volts 100% Duty Cycle and 12,500 watts of 3-phase 240 VAC or 11,500 watts of 120 VAC single-phase Auxiliary power. This machine will handle all of your needs for Stick, TIG, MIG, Flux Core and Gouging. This unit is designed for truck installation. At 1,035 pounds, this machine can be hauled by many standard pickups. The Stainless Steel top and sides add great protection and durability as well as looking great. The new Arc Gouging mode handles up to 1/4-inch carbon rods.
Some of the small but important features are 1. Single-side engine access with a lockable sliding access door. 2. Fuel, Oil Pressure, and Engine Temperature gauges instead of warning lights. 3. A slide-out battery tray below the front control panel. 4. Easy access oil drain valve. 5. Lockable radiator cap cover. 6. The unit automatically switches to remote mode when a remote device is connected. 7. Large 20 gallon fuel tank. This gives you 16 hours of weld time at 300Amps 32Volts at 100% duty cycle, or 37 hours at high idle. 8. Engine Hour meter for scheduled Maintenance. 9. Two Vantage 300 machines can be operated in parallel in the CC mode for increased output.
For you guys that want Name Brand accessories with your welder we stock Lincoln Brand Solar-powered auto dark helmets. The Shade control is 9 to 13; the sensitivity and delay adjusts from dark to light are all continuously adjustable. The helmets are lightweight at 18.5 ounces or less. They will take a Magnifier lens, have a grind mode and do not require a battery. The K2812-1 Tribal is a Shiny Red with Black and white trim. There is also the K2815-1, a solid Shiny Black.
We have added the Tillman 1404 Drivers Glove to our inventory. The glove is listed as a driver's glove but because it is sewn with Kevlar thread for strength and heat resistance and has a rollover index finger and Keystone style thumb it has found uses in spot welding and other light duty welding applications.
We now stock a variety of the Magswitch products. These extremely strong magnets can be turned off and on with the twist of a knob. No power source is needed. They have found uses for these magnets in many different fields. Holding metal in position for welding is only one.
